We are thrilled to introduce ourselves, Angela and Dennis, as the faces behind Flooring First Taupo and Taupo Tiles. Dennis, an engineer by trade who grew up in Tokoroa, brings a technical edge, project management skills and a strong customer service background. Angela also a local girl from National Park, with her strong background in business advisory, customer service and sales, ensures our customers are always our top priority. Together, we bring a wealth of knowledge, a passion for continuous improvement, always keeping the customer’s needs at the heart of what we do and a fresh perspective to the business. Our spare time is focused on our family, we have three awesome children – and our family is our ‘WHY’ behind everything that we do. Richard Saunders
General Manager
Richard has over 18 years’ experience in the flooring industry and over 5 years with Flooring First.
He is our in-house expert for all things flooring. With a wealth of knowledge on carpet and hard flooring, Richard is our go to man when we have a complicated install. Richards hobbies include mountain biking, motor cycling and track days.
Most of my spare time is spent either mountain biking or riding motorcycles. If I am not out on my motorcycle, you will find my out on the MTB tracks either around Taupo or the Redwoods in Rotorua. I have riden all the local tracks at Craters & all the Taupo Great Lake Trails.
